Buying a House - Need a Survey?

The best way to reach an informed decision on such an important investment as a home is to
have a professional Valuation and/or Survey carried out by a Chartered Surveyor.

VALUATIONS

We are able to provide Valuations for Purchase, Sale, Mortgage, Probate
Bankruptcy, Relocation, Matrimonial, Family Transfer or Taxation.

SURVEYS - WHICH ONE?

We are able to provide two types of Surveys:-

* RICS Homebuyer Survey and Valuation *

A concise Report on houses, flats and bungalows built after about 1850 which are of conventional
construction and apparently in reasonable condition. The Report focuses on defects and problems
which are 'urgent' or 'significant' and have an effect on value.

* Building Survey *

Formerly called a Structural Survey, this is tailor-made to the client's individual requirements and is
available on all types and ages of Residential Properties and provides a full picture of their construction and
condition. The Report is particularly useful if a property is Listed or of unusual construction, is dilapidated,
has been extensively altered or where conversion, renovation or refurbishment is planned. The Report can
be extended to include a Valuation and an assessment of Rebuilding Costs for insurance purposes.
